I enjoy the process of making Sculpture, where the products of the imagination are made real through interaction with materials. This process is a live action that changes as the sculpture evolves, always searching for the unexpected and feeding off it.
I have always gravitated towards the use of metals in the production of sculpture. Having studied Engineering and learned of the limitless possibilities of metals, I am always keen to find out what they can allow me to achieve. I like to include some evidence of how the metal is worked in the fabrication of the sculpture, and to reveal it as an integral part of the composition.
I search through news media for arresting images, which I use as source material for new projects. At present I am investigating the limitless possibilities encrypted in the human face. Revealing some mysteries, and creating some more.
